The fourth bridal salon was the charm for our older daughter on Saturday. We trekked to Pronovias in The Domain for a good look at dress options. I guess if she hadn't found her dress there, we'd be branching out to Dallas shops next. Thankfully, there were lots of great options she was happy to try on while we watched the parade of beautiful dresses on our girl.
From the start of her dress journey, our CPA knew she wanted something floral and romantic to match her overall vibe for the big day. You can get a feel for her vision in the three lovely dresses above that were pretty, but not quite right. All three generations were thrilled when she walked out in "the one" that is NOT pictured above. She used words like love and iconic. There might also have been a bit of her signature squealing that rounded out the overall excitement of the moment. Then her consultant pulled out this gorgeously embellished veil that was the cherry on top of her wedding cake dream of a dress that really completed the look she wanted.
We toasted the bride right there in the salon with some champagne, then went out for lunch to celebrate ordering her gorgeous dress that will arrive in about six months. Though the hunt for bridesmaid dresses is just getting started, they've already found some really pretty options for her six ladies. I'll keep y'all posted!
